Knowing How to Discover the Correct Tool
It is not fitting your ministry into a box (facility)… It is wrapping the building around your ministry! That is our approach. Giving churches the correct tool to do excellent ministry in the future.
This may seem obvious, but it is important to understand why church architecture is a unique discipline. A church architect is not just designing a “church” – he is designing a performing arts auditorium (Worship Center- Sanctuary); an office building (administration); a school (education); a daycare facility (preschool/daycare); recreation center (gym/fellowship); and a restaurant (kitchen/dining). On top of all that, each of these components must be coordinated with one another. Most regular architects are experienced in some of the above mentioned areas, however, they may not be familiar with the unconventional pitfalls that exist in church facilities. Just as one will go to an eye doctor or heart specialist- a church design/builder is considered a specialist in his craft.
Ten areas of specific focus in order to discover the correct tool:
- Parking
- Seating
- Heating/Cooling
- Acoustical Accuracy
- Adaptable Space Utilization
- Aesthetic Design to Match Personality of Church
- Preschool/ Children/ Student Space
- Commons/ Gathering Area
- Clear lines of Sight
- Worship Center/ Sanctuary
